How to Replace the Spark Plugs on a Peugeot 307 Petrol

Let’s see how to replace the spark plugs on a Peugeot 307 petrol: naturally, the engine must be cold; disconnect the battery for safety after opening the bonnet. Remove the engine cover, disconnect the connectors from the coils one at a time, and unscrew the screws that secure them. Extract the coil and, using a 16 mm socket spanner, unscrew the spark plug. Be careful not to drop debris into the well: use compressed air or a cloth to clean the area around it before removing it. Before installing the new spark plug, check the gap of the electrodes (if not pre-set). Screw it in by hand until fully seated, then tighten with the socket to the recommended torque. Do not overtighten to avoid breaking the spark plug or the cylinder head. Refit the coil and repeat for all cylinders. Reconnect the battery and start the engine to check its operation.
