How to Disable the Start/Stop System in a Peugeot 308

Model: Peugeot 308 P5, MK 3 - Years 2021-2026

To disable the Start/Stop system in a Peugeot 308, get into the vehicle and turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Locate the Start/Stop button, situated on the central dashboard near the gear lever or under the dashboard, depending on the version. Press the button once: the indicator on the instrument cluster will light up, confirming that the Start/Stop is temporarily disabled. The engine will no longer switch off automatically at stops. This deactivation only applies to that driving session: upon the next vehicle start, the system will reactivate automatically. To manually reactivate it while driving, simply press the same button again.
