How to clean the EGR valve on a Peugeot

Lift the bonnet and secure it, then remove the soundproofing panel covering the cylinder head from the engine compartment. Start by unscrewing the securing bolts of the EGR valve. Once the part is removed from its seat, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws on it. Begin cleaning the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts, and use a brush to assist with the process. Once the part has been restored, reassemble the components together. Install the EGR valve back in the engine compartment and secure the engine cover parts. Start the engine and test its operation.
