Removing the Car Radio for Repair

To remove the car radio from the console, insert the appropriate tools into the side slots of the radio to release the retaining springs. At this point, pull the radio out of the compartment, carefully disconnecting the connectors. Perform the same operation on the cassette player to extract it from the console; therefore, insert the appropriate tools into the side slots of the player to release the retaining springs, then pull it out of its housing, removing the connectors. To reinstall the equipment, simply reconnect the connectors and gently insert the radio or player into their compartment, taking care not to pinch the electrical cables.
