Disassembly and Repair of Car Radio Antenna

This operation involves the complete disassembly of the interior light. The second step consists of removing the plastic trim from the roof held by two clips. Disconnect the connector if available and, using a 22mm ratchet spanner, undo the retaining bolt of the antenna. Remove the antenna and unscrew the two screws under the support to check the condition of the circuit inside it. If there is any corrosion due to water ingress, it is advisable to replace the entire antenna. Refit the antenna, ensuring that the rubber seal on the base is properly seated.
