Replacing Instrument Cluster Bulbs

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012

To replace the backlighting bulbs of the instrument cluster, it is necessary to remove it; to facilitate removal, lower the steering wheel adjustment all the way down; then unclip the plastic trim around the instrument cluster by pulling it forward; unscrew the fixing screws of the instrument cluster and disconnect the power connectors. At this point, extract the old bulb complete with its holder (bayonet fitting), remove the bulb by pulling it out, and insert the new one (T5 all-glass fitting); proceed in reverse for reassembly.
