Replacing the thermostat in your Peugeot 207 is a slightly complex task, but you can easily do it at home with some manual skills. The first step is to remove the air filter housing and the plastic water reservoir by unscrewing the relevant screws. Now, be patient and detach all the water hoses by removing the clips, taking care not to force them too much. You will now see the thermostat attached to the engine block with two bolts, which can be removed using a spanner. Remove the thermostat and its gasket, then apply high-temperature red sealant to the new gasket before positioning it and screwing the thermostat back into place.
