Instructions for Replacing the Diesel Filter

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012

To replace the diesel filter, first remove the plastic engine cover and locate the filter at the front of the engine. Completely unscrew the drain screw and use a funnel to collect the diesel that spills from the screw; once the diesel has drained, disconnect the inlet and outlet pipes and unscrew the cap of the filter container (bayonet fitting); remove the old filter, clean the container with a cloth, and insert the new one, also replacing the O-ring seals included in the kit. Finally, refit the cap, the pipes, and the drain screw.
