Instructions for Replacing Glow Plugs

It is recommended to perform this maintenance with a cold engine since the glow plugs are directly fixed to the cylinder head. Before proceeding with the removal, blow compressed air around the glow plug seats to remove any dirt that could enter the cylinders during the removal of the glow plugs. Then, undo the nut securing the glow plug feed eyelet and then the glow plug itself using a socket wrench. To remove one of the glow plugs, it is necessary to remove a support bracket, also disconnecting the fuel filter pipes. Apply grease to the threads of the new glow plugs and proceed in reverse for installation.
