Replacing the Half Shaft and CV Joint

If there are oil leaks, the gears tend to seize, starting with the engagement fork. The most likely points for leaks are the gaiters. To work on the gearbox, first drain the oil from the casing, then proceed to remove the half shaft. Next, remove the wheel and take off the bolts to also detach the hub. Once this is done, you can work on the gaiter. Use a spanner to tighten the bolts and nuts that secure it, ensuring it does not loosen and fits perfectly into the groove of the gear wheel.
