How to Remove the Seatbelt from its Reel

Model: Peugeot 406 MK 1 - Years 1995-2005

First, remove the cap on the side with the white square, push the plastic rivet through the hole, and lift the cap. Next, pull the seatbelt all the way out, and once it is fully extended, extract the reel. To secure it, use a screwdriver or a similar tool. Push the plastic pin to the end of the belt to remove it, then slide the belt off the reel (if you do not hold the reel with one hand, always keep it secured). Now, slide the new belt into the reel, and if you have difficulty, use a tool to assist. Pull the belt through the reel and insert the plastic pin of the belt, allowing the belt to slide into the reel. Reinsert the plate and the side cover, and you are finished.
