To replace the starter motor on a Peugeot 206, open the bonnet to access the engine bay: the part is located between the engine block and the battery, at the lower part of the bay. To reach it, you will need to remove the exhaust pipe positioned on the right side of the engine and other obstructing parts. The starter motor will then be accessible, and you can extract it from the engine bay by loosening its mounting bolts and disconnecting the connectors attached to it. Once removed, you can insert a new device and secure it properly.
