Replacing the float in a Peugeot 206 is straightforward, but it requires disassembling the pump as the two elements are directly connected and work in tandem. First, ensure the key is not inserted, then lift the rear seat and remove the central cap. Next, disconnect the power connector, also disconnect the two fuel pipes, and unscrew the large outer ring. At this point, you can extract the pump from the tank, replace the float, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
