To replace the timing belt on a Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi, loosen the bolts securing the front right wheel to detach the rivets holding the inner cover of the wheel arch. This will provide access to the components underneath: specifically, you can loosen the tensioner pulley to reduce the tension on the belt and remove it from the top of the engine bay. Once removed, install the new belt and reassemble all previously removed parts.
