Replacement of Front Discs and Pads

Model: Peugeot 306 MK 1 - Years 1993-2002

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheel (loosen the bolts before lifting); remove the safety clip and then the fixing pin of the pads to the caliper, extract the pads by disconnecting the wear sensor; check the movement of the caliper and remove it from the hub support to free the disc; unscrew the disc fixing bolts and remove it from its seat; clean the disc seat with a wire brush and apply grease before installing the new disc after cleaning it of protective oil; retract the caliper piston using a C-clamp, reassemble it, and insert the new pads, securing them with the pin and safety clip.
