Use a 10 mm wrench to unscrew the negative terminal, then also unscrew the positive battery terminal (position the cables so that they do not touch each other). Before removing the battery, it will also be necessary to remove the control unit (just remove it from its seat and lay it sideways, or tie it to the bodywork with a cable, to avoid damaging the contacts). Remove the latch that holds the battery in place, the tab is moved towards the battery and the latch can be pulled upwards. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new one in reverse order (connect the positive lead first and then the negative lead).
