How to replace the battery of a Peugeot 208? This guide explains how to remove the battery. Open the car door and pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet (releasing the locking lever with your fingers). Once the engine bay is open, you will find the battery to be replaced on the right. Start unscrewing the securing bolts of the battery terminals with the appropriate spanner, disconnect the securing plate if present. Remove the old battery and install a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and shut the engine bonnet.
