Removing Retaining Pins for Rear Brake Pads

The rear brake pads are secured to the caliper by two pins that pass through the holes in the pads and insert into the holes in the caliper, all secured with retaining clips. The first step to extract these pins is to remove the wheel and take out the clips.

At this point, the pins should be removable with a pin punch, but due to excessive corrosion, they may be stuck. You will need to find a solution to free them using some spray and also apply a hammer and chisel.

Avoid heating as this may damage the rubber parts of the caliper; if you must heat them, use an induction system rather than an open flame.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
