How to Replace the Rear Shock Absorbers on a Peugeot 308

To replace the shock absorbers on a Peugeot 308, lift the rear, insert axle stands, and remove the wheels. Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the plastic cover of the shock absorber and remove it. Move to the boot, where you will find a small cover behind which is the upper fixing bolt, which you will unscrew with a spanner and an Allen key. Move to the bottom and, using 18 mm spanners, unscrew the lower fixing point, and the old shock absorber will slide out. Take the new one and recover the old protective boot, reassemble everything starting from the bottom, initially tightening the bolts by hand and then with a torque wrench.
