Model: Peugeot 308
T9, MK 2
- Years 2013-2021 Let's see how to proceed to replace the rear brake pads of the Peugeot 308. Loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car, finish unscrewing the bolts and then remove the wheel. Remove the caliper by unscrewing the 13 mm bolts and holding the underlying 15 mm nuts, once the caliper is free, support it in position with elastic cables, remove the old brake pads and the sliding plates. Use the appropriate tool to retract the brake caliper piston, clean the surfaces with a jet of compressed air. Position the new sliding plates and install the new brake pads, put the brake caliper back in position, paying attention to the two springs. Tighten the two bolts using the new ones provided in the kit, remount the wheel and lower the car. Repeat the process with the other wheel.
