Peugeot 308 - Video tutorial
Model: Peugeot 308
T9, MK 2
- Years 2013-2021 In this video we can see how to replace the front brake pads of a Peugeot 308: we open the hood and lift the front part of the car and remove the wheels; we turn the disc outwards and insert a flat screwdriver into the caliper slot to push back the piston, then we unlock its caliper bolts, disconnect the brake hose and secure the caliper on one of the spring coils of the shock absorber. We remove the pads; we remove the disc support bolts and remove it, then we clean the axle with a metal brush and grease it with copper grease, we insert the new disc but first we clean it with a brake cleaner, then we put back the caliper support and install the pads, greasing the outer part with copper grease we insert the pads and put back the caliper and screw in the bolts and reconnect the hose. We can put the wheel back on and repeat on the other side.
