Adaptive Cruise Control of the Peugeot 3008

The Peugeot 3008 is equipped with the Adaptive Cruise Control system, a useful driving aid, combined with lane keeping, especially on long motorway journeys. The system relies on a series of sensors located at the front of the vehicle; lane keeping must be activated via the button on the left stalk of the steering wheel. When the vehicle is in motion, the cruise control maintains the set speed, and the lane keeping keeps the vehicle in its lane. When the system detects a vehicle in front, it slows down and maintains the previously set distance. If the vehicle leaves the lane without the indicator being activated, the system intervenes autonomously on the steering. The system remains active until the vehicle comes to a stop, as happens in traffic.
