How to Replace the Diesel Filter in a Peugeot 5008 (II)

In this video tutorial, see how to replace the diesel filter in a Peugeot 5008 (II). First, purchase a new diesel filter from an authorised car parts dealer. Place the new filter in a container with diesel to allow it to soak. Lift the vehicle using a hydraulic jack and secure it with axle stands. Remove the cover that conceals the diesel filter; then, disconnect the pipes. Using a 19mm hex key, unscrew the diesel filter holder (at some point, diesel will spill out). Once the filter is removed, fill the filter holder with diesel as much as possible, insert the two new seals: one on the new diesel filter and the other on the fixed part of the filter holder (grease the seals with a bit of oil). After replacing the filter, use a syringe to fill it with diesel to avoid straining the system. Finally, turn on the vehicle's ignition 5/6 times to activate the pumps without starting the vehicle (this should allow the vehicle to start on the first attempt).
