Access the auxiliary belt from the engine bonnet. Pull the tensioner pulley laterally, and when it is free, remove it from its housing, taking care of its routing.

If necessary, take a photo before removal to ensure correct routing. Often, when installing a new auxiliary belt, the tensioner is also replaced: you can find the complete kit on Amazon for £54.38, including delivery, with code B0068MI2UE. Once you have reinstalled the belt, pull the tensioner pulley laterally to ensure it is properly tensioned.
