Operation: How to replace the service belt in the Peugeot 207?

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the service belt in the Peugeot 207, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we open the hood and locate the indicated belt tensioner, located on the right side of the engine. We then lift the same side of the vehicle, taking all necessary safety measures, and remove both the wheel and the corresponding wheel arch. At this point, we grab the belt tensioner with a long 15mm socket wrench, move it towards the front of the vehicle to loosen the tension, and remove the belt from the pulleys. In the same way, we can position the replacement.

When the steering angle sensor malfunction warning light comes on, it may need to be replaced as follows: first remove the steering wheel and the lower steering wheel guard by removing the three fixing screws. The steering sensor is located just below the steering column. To release it you need to have a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole on the front, push the screwdriver all the way down until the clips at the bottom are released.
