How Adaptive Cruise Control Works on the Peugeot 508

This video explains how adaptive cruise control with stop & go function works on the Peugeot 508. It automatically adjusts to the speed of the vehicle in front. However, when indicating to overtake a slower vehicle, the cruise control allows you to close the gap to the vehicle ahead to pass it. If the vehicle in front stops, the system slows down and can come to a complete stop if necessary, using engine braking and the braking system. For vehicles with automatic transmission, if you remain stationary for less than 3 seconds, the car will start moving again on its own; otherwise, simply press the reset button or the accelerator pedal. This driving assistant can also be used alongside the lane positioning assistant by pressing the corresponding button. This way, the vehicle will always remain in the correct driving position.
