Operation: How to replace the alternator of the Peugeot 508 1.6 hdi.

To replace the alternator of the Peugeot 508, we start by grabbing the tensioner notch with a wrench and pulling; we insert an Allen key into the hole to lock the tensioner, remove the drive belt, inspect it; remove the 3 10mm bolts on the tensioner and remove it; remove the pressure sensor bolt with an 8mm wrench, remove the fastening device that holds the sensor tubes using a small flathead screwdriver; remove the intercooler tubes by loosening the clamps that hold them; remove the tension cable bolt of the alternator (don't forget to disconnect the battery first); remove the two outer 16mm bolts on the alternator; using a 16mm wrench, remove the upper internal bolt on the alternator; once the bolt is removed, use a lever to lift the alternator forward; remove the bracket near the DPF, using a 16mm wrench, remove the lower internal bolt of the alternator, then we can remove the alternator; to reassemble it, perform the reverse procedure compared to disassembly.
