You will need a precise stopwatch, so start the car: ensure the doors and windows are closed, and keep your foot on the brake pedal throughout the procedure. Shift into "N" and count for two minutes. Now shift into drive and wait for one and a half minutes. Position the lever in "P" and, without removing your foot from the brake, turn off the engine. Open and close the door, and you are done. Take the car for a drive to see if it worked.
