In this video, find out where to locate the legal chassis number of the Peugeot 308 MK1 version: open the bonnet and go to the passenger side. Lift the rubber seal located under the windscreen; beneath it, there is a rubber grille.

Under this grille, you will find the metal cover of the shock absorber. The chassis number, which is a Peugeot code, will always start with VF. Depending on the year of manufacture, the chassis number may be stamped on top of the cover or on one of its sides.

The spare wheel of a Peugeot 5008 is located under the rear of the vehicle. To remove it, you need to lift the third row of seats to access the fixing bolt that holds the spare wheel in position.
