In this video, see how to reset the BSI on a Peugeot 206: BSI stands for Built-in System Interface and is a system introduced by the PSA group in 2000. It is a central controller that allows the sharing and management of information across the various ECUs of a vehicle. Here’s how to do it: turn on the ignition, open the bonnet, then remove the cover from the battery. Take the keys out of the ignition and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 15 to 20 seconds. Then reconnect the battery; put the keys back in the ignition and turn on the lights; start the engine for 10 to 15 seconds, then open and close the driver's door. Operation complete!
