The first thing to do is to make sure the seals are clean, and we can apply some silicone spray to solve this problem. Then, if we see that the bottom is closed but the top is protruding outward, we lower the window and force it inward, as shown by the youtuber. If we need to adjust the lock, we can do so with an empty water bottle, pushing the door closed. If we need to replace the seal, we just need to pull it towards us and it will come off all together, and to put it back in place we just need to push it with our hand. Another very common problem is the hinge located in the rear part of the tailgate; if the screw starts to come out, it will allow water to enter the tailgate, but we can easily put it back in place.
