Brake Pad and Disc Replacement

Model: Peugeot 207 MK 1 - Years 2006-2015

Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the vehicle, securing it safely. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Unscrew the two retaining screws of the caliper with a spanner and move it away. Remove the bolts from the caliper support and take it off. Unscrew the screws of the disc and forcefully remove it from its housing. Clean the entire braking assembly from debris using a grinder. Refit the new disc and clean it. Also, clean the caliper, piston, and caliper support thoroughly. Refit the caliper support. Install the new pads, ensuring the correct rotation direction. Check the wear condition of the clips and piston. Lubricate the fixing pins and reposition the piston, ensuring proper operation. Carefully refit the caliper and springs. Ensure the pads are perfectly adhered to the disc. Reset the position of the pistons by pressing the brake pedal.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
