How to Reset the Service Light on a Porsche Cayenne MK2

To reset the service light on the dashboard of a Porsche Cayenne MK2, the owner's manual states that you need to use diagnostic equipment: however, this is a very simple method that we will show you in this video. With the ignition on and the engine off, use the button panel on the right and turn the knob located at the far right of the steering wheel until you reach the "vehicle" option.

Then click on "info", followed by "service interval", which shows the service intervals and oil level in sequence. Connect your diagnostic tool to the OBD port and click on "service" and then "oil reset". Select the make of your vehicle, and the device will automatically detect the vehicle's VIN. Confirm it, go to functions, and then to oil reset, which you will select and execute.

Turn off the ignition and then turn it back on to check that the warning light has turned off.
