How to open the front hood of a Porsche with a dead battery

In this video we can see how to proceed to open the front hood of a Porsche 997 with a dead battery; in fact, the battery is located in the front hood, and the compartment opens with an electric lock that can be opened with a button located on the lower left side of the driver's seat. We must then open the small door located near the driver's pedals, where the fuses are located. Using the tweezers inside, we must pull the red plug located right next to it, which is an auxiliary power input; to this plug we can connect the positive of a booster, while the negative will be taken from the door hinge. Now we can press the hood opening button to open it and work on the battery.
