This video tutorial shows how to replace the diesel fuel filter on a Dodge Ram. Locate the fuel pump connector and disconnect it. After removing the cap to drain the fuel from the tank, wait until it is completely empty. Then loosen the steel clamps that secure the supply and return fuel lines. Once freed, they can be removed. Now you can take out the old filter and replace it with the new one, retrieving or replacing the O-rings. Next, insert and tighten the new filter in place and reconnect the previously removed lines. Finally, restore the electrical connection of the fuel pump.
