Resetting the Service light on the Renault Trafic MK3

After replacing the engine oil and its filter in the Renault Trafic, we need to reset the wrench-shaped warning light that appears on the instrument panel to remind us to perform this important maintenance operation. Sitting in the driver's seat, we press the accelerator pedal all the way down, turn the ignition key to position two to turn on the instrumentation, press and release the brake pedal three times, release the pedals completely, and turn off the instrument panel. Upon the next restart, the absence of the warning light will confirm that the reset has been successful.
