How do you remove the airbag from the steering wheel of a Renault Megane? Let's see how to proceed in this video. Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery power cables.

Unscrew the screws around the steering wheel cover with a screwdriver, then remove the airbag by unscrewing the screws at the back of the steering wheel. Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the power cables.

Now remove the central anchoring pin of the steering wheel and disconnect the power connectors. Pull the steering wheel out by hand after marking the tightening position with a marker (this makes reassembly easier).

To reassemble everything, proceed in reverse order.
