How to reset the BMS of the Renault Zoe

In this video we see how to reset the BMS of the Renault Zoe: but what is the BMS? BMS= Battery Management System which controls the battery charge status, remaining capacity, cell balancing, and estimated range, based on driving style and battery history. Why do we want to reset the BMS? Because it is believed to be showing incorrect range; or because the battery has been replaced in whole or in part, and because with the battery fully charged to 100% it does not show consistent values. The procedure to follow is as shown in the video: battery fully charged to 100%; turn off the car and wait 5 minutes, turn on the instrument panel and press both the brake and clutch pedals fully for about 15 seconds. Wait to hear a "click": it is the BMS resetting. Now turn off and turn on the car again. In the video, the range was 286 km before and 364 km after the reset. But we shouldn't do this operation too often, as it could generate less accurate estimates.
