How to replace the battery of the Renault Scenic 3

The battery of the Renault Scenic model mk3 is located inside the front hood, in the compartment to the right of the engine. To replace the battery, we need to open the front hood and remove the battery cover. Using a 10 mm wrench, we remove and unscrew the negative battery terminal. We remove the air filter cover to access the side support bar of the battery and unscrew it using an 8 mm socket wrench. Using a wrench, we remove the positive terminal cable fastening bolt. We move the cable and remove the battery. We clean the terminals with sandpaper and insert the new battery. We connect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal. After tightening the two bolts, we mount the side support bar and insert the air filter cover. We mount the battery cover and close the front hood.
