How do you remove and replace the spark plugs on a Renault Clio? Here’s how to proceed: open the engine bay and lift the bonnet, secure it, disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the engine and using a screwdriver or pliers, remove the coils from the cylinder head; then unscrew the spark plugs with a socket spanner, pulling them out of the cylinder head.

Take the new spark plugs and guide them with the extension of the socket spanner into the cylinder head; tighten them and reconnect the ignition coils to each spark plug with the new leads.
