How to open the hood of a Megane II when it is not possible to open it from the interior

In this video, we see how to open the hood of a Renault Megane II that cannot be opened from the inside of the car. We remove the front right grille from the front of the vehicle so that we can reach inside the hood to the lock and open it. Once opened, we can see that the lock is not damaged, but rather the cable connecting the lock to the lever inside the car has come loose. We need to find the two ends of the cable to reconnect them and see that from the inside, pulling the lever opens the lock as usual. We put the front grille back in place and the job is done.
