To open the door of a Renault Megane when the remote battery is flat, extract the key from the top of the remote. Once the key is removed, use it to lever off the lock cover located to the right of the handle. When the cover is removed, insert the key into the lock and turn it anti-clockwise to open. The key can also be used to lock all doors by turning it clockwise; finally, replace the cover.
