Here’s how to reset the service on the Renault Modus.

Model: Renault Modus MK 1 - Years 2004-2013

To reset the maintenance interval on the Renault Modus, simply use the instrument panel and the onboard computer button. With the car stationary, turn the ignition key without starting the engine: the maintenance message will appear on the central display. Use the button on the stalk control near the steering wheel, the same one you normally use to scroll through the information on the onboard computer, to display the service information and the kilometers remaining until the next service. When the maintenance screen is active, press and hold the same button for a few seconds. The service message will be updated, and the system will register the new maintenance interval after the recently completed service. Release the button and check that when you scroll through the onboard computer information again, the "service due" warning no longer appears, but only the oil level indication and other driving data. In this way, the service interval of the Renault Modus is correctly reset directly from the instrument panel, without the need for diagnostic tools.
