In this video, we can see how to permanently disable the start & stop function using the OBD port and a laptop with the DDT4ALL software. This modification allows us to disable the function without compromising battery charging. It is a simple operation; just identify the exact model of your vehicle; if it is from after November 2012, it is definitely a Meg III ph2 like the one in the video, so you can confidently follow the instructions from the YouTuber. Don't forget to also modify the last line at the bottom of the screen, otherwise the function will not be fully modified.
