How to replace the fan (air) resistor on a Renault Scenic? Follow these steps for disassembly. Remove the plastic cover under the front dashboard using a lever, then remove the plastics around the gear knob and the glove compartment. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the cover where the resistor is located. Disconnect the large connector from the resistor, then pull it out of the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, reassemble all the cover plastics and tighten the screws. Check the correct installation of the previously fitted parts and test their proper functioning.
