How the Emergency Call Works on Renault Arkana

This video explains how the emergency call works on the Renault Arkana: in the event of a serious accident, it activates automatically and sends a call to 112, transmitting the vehicle's GPS position, time of the accident, model, and registration number: the call is sent to the nearest emergency service, and a light on the dashboard indicates the status of the call. In the case of a minor emergency, the call can be activated manually by pressing the SOS button for 3 seconds: the light flashes and the call starts with a green light; if the light is a steady red, there is a fault in the system. No light means there is no network coverage. To cancel an accidental call, press the SOS button again for two seconds before the operator answers. During the call, stay in the vehicle and provide all details about the emergency. Do not misuse the system: use it only for genuine emergencies; check the coverage, and if the light is red, have the system checked.
