How to Reset the Service Light on a Renault Talisman

Here’s how to reset the service light on a Renault Talisman: enter the cabin, turn on the instrument panel, use the indicator buttons on the steering wheel and the "ok" button. Scroll to "service interval" and press "ok" to enter. Hold down "ok" until the menu changes screen. It will display "oil change" or "service". Keep holding "ok" and the message will start to flash. When it stops and stabilises, the reset is complete. It is important not to start the engine during this operation: it will interrupt and you will have to start over. This procedure applies to most modern Renaults.
