Where to find and how to remove the EGR valve on a Renault Scenic 1.9 DCi

This guide shows how to remove the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve on a Renault Scenic 1.9 DCi. After securing the vehicle and opening the bonnet, locate the position of the valve. It is situated at the end of the metal hose above the engine head and covered by a plastic cover; it is easily recognisable by its shape. To access the valve, you need to remove the air hose, the fixing bolts of the pipes connecting to the valve body. Disconnect the electrical connections and finally slide out the EGR valve.
