The guide shows how to remove the EGR (Exaust Gas Recirculation) valve of the Renault Scenic 1.9 DCi. After securing the vehicle and opening the bonnet, it is necessary to identify the position of the valve. It is placed at the end of the metal sleeve which is located above the engine head and covered by the plastic cover; it is easily recognized due to its shape. In order to access the valve it is necessary to remove the air pipe and the pipe fixing bolts that connect to the valve body. Disconnect the electrical connections and finally remove the EGR valve.
