How to Reset the Service Light on the Renault Megane Mk2

This guide shows how to reset the service light on the Renault Megane Mk2; the light in question is the orange spanner that appears on the dashboard. The first step is to insert the ignition key and hold down the ignition button without pressing the brake pedal. When you hear the beep, release the ignition button and this time perform the ignition procedure by pressing the brake pedal, thus turning on the dashboard. From the right stalk of the steering wheel, press the button until you reach the service screen. At this point, hold down the button on the stalk and press the brake pedal until the light goes out. The service light reset operation is now complete.
