You can replace the battery of your Renault Clio 4 remote control by following simple steps to avoid damaging the cover before removing it. You will need a CR2032 3V battery. First, split the key; one part is an emergency key and the other contains a chip that allows you to start the vehicle even if the car battery is flat by inserting it into the designated slot. Now, separate the two keys by pressing the grey button; once done, hold both sides with your thumbs; use your index finger to press against the small nail in front of the cover until it pops up. At this point, you can remove the old battery with a screwdriver; insert the new battery; reposition the cover and join the two keys; you're done!
